Taken in late July at Beauty Creek in Jasper National Park, Canada. This was my second time cycling the Icefields Parkway. I couldn't bring my big tripod with me and had to use the biggest gorillapod I could find. I found this spot just north of the wilderness hostel, but couldn't find a suitable anchor. Eventually, after scavenging the site for a while, I found a sign that I lugged to this location.

Thanks. I actually produced the monochrome version by accident. I had the photo open in photoshop, went to click on my Nik output sharpener plugin, and accidentally clicked on Nik ColourEfex Pro plugin which defaults to showing the image in monochrome. Total fluke, but I find some of the best shots are total accidents.
